Just a doodle while enjoying the fire, red wine and a fine saturday evening at home. Sometimes that’s all I need.

Waiting out the blizzard in front of the fireplace in Tigne, France. Had some excellent days of skiing just before.

On a personal note.. we spend the weekend in beautiful Rome. A wonderfull city with ancient treasures around every corner. Ofcourse I will upload my pictures to Flickr soon, but here’s an impression.

On the way home through France just below Lyon, our next stop. Mountains fading in the distance.. Smell of fresh summer rain washed away by the strong sun.

Rough edges with houses miraculously attached here and there, the Ligurian coast.. I have this drawing and a collection of pebbles to take me back every now and than.

Quick drawing of the Dutch polder after a good summer rain storm on my way to my parents. Love the simple dark but bright colours, so I kept it simple.

Whilst sitting and waiting on a very busy museum sunday. The kids wondering of and coming back doing science projects all afternoon at the “science festival” I had this magnificent view on the Amstel and Amsteram

Spending a very relaxing evening… “met mintnopjes’ can really keep this up for hours, blogging, reading, watching, drawing, tweeting, … on the couch with my favorite screens..

Went to the local memorial today.. May 4th 2009. Just to be silent with others. Watching listening always feels special.

Lazy sunday.. been drawing in the sun in Amsterdam.. sun on my face.. finishing and posting with the mac on my lap also in the sun.. on the couch. Love these days of nothing and sun in my moleskine.
